INSPIRATION: MARIO ZOOTS

A bit of collage inspiration from Denver-based artist Mario Zoots

INSPIRATION: LUIS ARTEMIO DE LOS SANTOS

Rebel kids frolick and dance.

Unfortunately, Luis doesn't have his own website yet, but give his name a google search and be mesmerized by the gallery

INSPIRATION: LAUREN CLAY

Lauren Clay is a brooklyn-based artist who creates a variety of earth-defying sculptures, they look like alien artefacts that crashed to earth, but somehow, I think they're cute. A big inspiration to me, I love the variety in her work, and how she doesn't stick to a comfort zone.

INSPIRATION: KRISTIE MULLER

Canadian photographer Kristie Muller has a beautiful eye for colour and composition. Clean lines and subtle details are what make her images pop. All the pastel colours, I love it. She photographs the world  that goes unnoticed, not the people who ignore it.

INSPIRATION: JONATHAN MESS

Jonathan Mess - aptly named - appeals to the fine artist in me. And those colours. Wow.

INSPIRATION: JOHN M ARMLEDER

Swiss-born John M Armleder plays with light and vision to create beautiful works of art, that look different from every angle, and make the viewer consider what it is they are looking at, allowing them to look through the piece and into themselves. His photos riddle Tumblr teen blogs but I feel he should be much more highly regarded than just by a twelve year old with an ipad.

Armleder doesn't have his own website but you can see more of his work or read a bio on the Galerie van Gelder website.

INSPIRATION: FRED LAHACHE

Fred Lahache is a Paris-based photographer, who takes beautifully simple, clean, well-composed photos full of colour and light. He notices details and doesn't spoil a photograph by trying to overcomplicate things.

MUSIC VIDEO: BREACH - JACK

I'm finding it very difficult to get over how incredible this music video is. The hair, the dance, the song, the colours, the movement, the switching between scenes. Incredible. Produced by Riff Raf for British DJ Breach (aka Ben Westbeach), this is the best video I've seen in a while. I want to dance like that.

INSPIRATION: BOBBY DOHERTY

Amazing images from American photographer Bobby Doherty. These photos are so well composed, and would be great to use as colour and collage references.
